Nathan Hale, an Easley Native showed a passion for irrigation early on, installing a simple hose timer and drip system for the gardening club at Easley Junior High back in 1993. He knew he wanted to be a part of the green industry at that point. He started RNH Landscaping in 1996 while still in high school. Graduating in 1999 he dropped the lawn maintenance side of the business and focused solely on irrigation, creating what we know today as Carolina Water.
He provided irrigation services in the afternoons and on weekends for many years until leaving a full time job of ten years as a building operations manager for a corporate bank to pursue his dream of being a full time Irrigation plumber. Today things haven't changed much, Nathan is still handling the majority of calls personally.
Two of his four sons, David & Will often help out with service calls in between school and working part time at the local Publix grocery store.
Nathan is a master of his trade, with extensive knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and best practices for turf management. We held a Certified Applicator License from Clemson University in turf & ornamental as well as Public Health and Safety for 10 years, but have since dropped the license as we are no longer required to have it.
